Location. The Soho Grand Hotel is located on the Lower East Side of New York, N.Y. The shopping and art of SoHo is one block from the hotel, along with the Cast Iron Historic District. With a nod to the past, the SoHo Grand Hotel's lobby features a suspended cast iron stairway to the second floor and is cutting-edge chic, with 16-foot windows draped with muslin and velvet, a mercury glass ceiling unexpectedly accented with chicken wire and upholstered pieces in a mix of textiles. Commissioned works by SoHo artists are displayed throughout the hotel and the guestrooms, and some works are available for purchase.
